I am entering a new phase into my life and trying out this blogging thing. I'm not sure if I will be as ambitious and update as often as I would like, but it's worth a shot and I think it will be a great way for my friends and family to read what's going on in my life.
Saying Goodbye....
After almost 10 years, I lost my 4-legged daughter on Sunday. Millie was a great dog who loved other animals and kids. She had some rough spots in her life but lived a good one. She knew she was loved by all. At age 5, she had surgery for a collapsed vertibrae, which nearly took her life then. But she was a trooper and pulled through and fought for another 5 years until she was overtaken by what the vet thinks was cancer. We didn't have the funds to run a bunch of tests and since her body was shutting down, we didn't want to prolong her any pain and suffering. She is at a wonderful resting place that is nice and peaceful surrounded by woods and wildlife...as spot she liked to go for walks and chace rabbits. Millie girl, you will always be in our hearts and thoughts. We love and miss you...RIP.
