Happy New Year and Happy 9th Birthday

I would like to wish everyone a very Happy and Safe New Year. May you remember the great times had in 2010 and make plenty of wonderful memories in 2011.

At midnight, I would also like to wish my nephew Zachary a very Happy "9th" Birthday. Ugh 9..years..old!!

~~ Sorry for the duplicate of pictures from last post, however this is the most recent picture that I have of Zachary at this moment ~~

We also reminisce on January 1st about how I got a phone call from 2 different people within a very short time frame to go to 2 different hospitals. The 1st call was my SIL calling to say they were on their way to the hospital to deliver Zachary. A short few minutes later (and in the middle of me scrambling to get dressed for the hospital) I got another call from my Mom telling me to head to another hospital as my brother chopped his fingers off.

Yeah, that was fun for me to decide in the middle of my scramble which direction to head. So I sent Chris to the one to be with his brother and I figured "this is her first child, she'll be a while in labor" and I headed to the other hospital as fast and safely as I could get there to check in on him before heading to hospital #2.

Well.. little did I know that my SIL likes to deliver her babies fast! I wasn't even halfway to the hospital when I got a phone call that "it's a boy!". Lets just say that when she became preggers with her 2nd son and knew she was going to be induced. She called to say she was on her way to the hospital, I was there waiting for their arrival and got to experience the miracle of birth with Nicholas.

~~Happy Birthday Zachary. We love you.

"Dank Dew"

I picked Kyler up from Mrs. Donna's yesterday afternoon and when I was pulling him out of the car seat, he looked up at me and said: "Dank Dew".... it was soo cute!

Later last night, we went out with some friends to celebrate Chris getting a job and one of our friends getting a new home!!! Woo-hoo!!! Chris' old company called and offered him his job back and let me tell you..that made me one happy person. Although, I don't think I was nearly as excited as Mrs. Donna. She is SOOO excited that she doesn't have to lose Kyler and that he gets to stay under her care. And we're really excited about that too. He sure does love her and we are very fond of her ourselves. Anyone that loves our son as much as we do, is a winner in our books. She does so much with the kids there and they all have become really close buddies which I love.

As we were at the dinner table and I would hand something over to Kyler, he would say "Dank Dew" and made a game of it all night....I LOVE that!! (yes, even though it means my "baby" is growing up).

Christmas 2010

Thursday when Kyler came home from daycare, Chris and I got THE CUTEST ornament EVER! Kyler (and Mrs. Donna) made this while at daycare:

Friday, I went and kidnapped my nephews so my sister-in-law could get some things done. Kyler was SO excited when I pulled in to the driveway and he saw them. He was asleep when I left to go get them so he had no clue they were coming over.

As the cookies were baking, the boys played outside and once they cooled off, they came inside to decorate them.

Nicholas decorating his Christmas cookies:

Kyler eating.. ah-hem, I mean "decorating" his Christmas cookies:

Ky's cookies before he devoured it:

Kyler watching Nicholas' work in progress:

After the cookie baking was done, we loaded up and headed back to their house. They REALLY wanted Kyler to have a slumber party. So before we left our house, we left Santa a note including the address to where Kyler would be. All 4 of us got to stay the night...yes Even Kady and she was such a good girl!

Before Santa arrived:

Cookies left for Santa:

After Santa came:

Zachary up VERY SHORTLY after Santa arrived:

Kyler was 2nd one up and I was expecting him to be the last one up. This is him seeing the tree for the first time after Santa arrived:

Zachary and Kyler waiting for the others:

All 3 boys and all 3 dogs.. too cute, sorry its blurry:

The Kiesling ritual for every Christmas morning is to have Cinnamon Rolls with orange glaze and let me tell you.. they get better and better every year. Kyler had 2of them!

Zachary stoked that Santa brought him some Legos:

Nicholas opening something from Zachary..and he played this game all morning.. LOVED it!:

Kyler very patiently waiting for Uncle Kevin to finish helping get his toy out:

Kyler tearing into it!:

Opening his pots and pans from Uncle Kevin and Aunt Sherry. Whooo-hooo.. the boy LOVES to cook! Now I get to keep my pots and pans...HA! His stance is him being in the middle of a dance when he saw what was inside!:

Kyler opening more dishes! This is perfect as he LOVES to cook:

Cooking up a storm with Aunt Sherry:

Oh yeah, "tasting" what he is "cooking":

Giving Aunt Sherry some kisses for his pots and pans:

Kyler opening his tool sets:

Kyler loves this tool:

He wont let this tool go while opening others:

Ok this time he set it down to open another cool tool:

I love this look on his face. He was changing the TV and knew he wasn't supposed to touch the remote and he was trying not to laugh at us looking at him:

So much going on..hmm what to do next!:

This is Cody and Kady playing,, but look in the left hand corner at Kyler giggling...Aunt Sherry was getting Kyler belly:

After breakfast that Sherry and I cooked with help of Kyler, we loaded up and headed to Gramma's house.

Christmas morning was so fun and exhausting to Kyler:

We had a Great steak lunch and yummy fixings. After we all stuffed our faces with the yummy food, we hit the pies. Kyler helped Chris eat his Peanut Butter pie and me with my Cherry Cheesecake and wanted more. He realized that Gramma had some, so off my lap he went and made a b-line to Gramma. Now she's going to kill me for posting a picture of her eating, but check out Kyler's face:

BIG time cheeser!:

After lunch, we all waddled into the living room to have Christmas.

Opening his tractor:

He would not get off it:

Big smile:

Kyler and his Gramma..soo cute!:

Kyler got more tools! Gramma knows what the boys wanted:

Giving Gramma kisses:

After all the gifts were exchanged and opened, we headed outside so the boys could ride their tractors. Buddy Roe got his back in Oct for his birthday and Kyler had a fit for it then.

They don't know the concept yet of peddling, so we have to push, but they are getting it:

After our backs were give out, Mom and I took the kids and Kady for a wagon ride. BBug started out pulling the boys and then she got in the wagon with them:

On the way back, BBug got out and ran to the house and Kyler got out to pull Buddy Roe.. he loves to pull things:

When we got back, Gramma "tried" to get the kids to settle down for an afternoon nap.. they were too excited to sit still and nap:

When Kyler saw Papa Pat pulling up.. he made a b-line. He sure does love His Papa Pat!;

For dinner, my Mom made a wonderful lasagna. After dinner my brother and his family headed home as my sister-in-law and the kids were headed to her moms for Christmas. They got there and the kids were having a blast in the snow!

I want to Thank Everyone for everything this year. Especially for providing where Chris and I weren't able to and for making this a Wonderful Christmas for Kyler. We love you all and hope you have (had) a Wonderful Christmas yourselves.

Movin' and Groovin'- Shakin His Groove Thang

Here's two really cute videos of Kyler dancing.

This one was taken Christmas day at Gramma's house. One of her neighbors were playing some music and we were outside and he went to dancing to it:

Gramma has some dancing rabbits and everytime Kyler sees them, we hear this singing rabbit at least 200 times a day. But look how cute!:

A Crazy Little Mixture of Catch Up!

I am playing a little catch up on this post due to a lot going on including Lil Man and I both being sick (again)!

~~ Extremely Grateful~~
I first have to start off with giving a shout out to all my work peeps. They totally rock. Knowing what is going on with us (and not having the money for what seems like everything right now)...they bought Kyler gifts for Christmas from Santa instead of drawing names for one another. I cried at our luncheon and every time I talk about it (including now). They truly are wonderful and I will NEVER be able to Thank them enough! I will pay it forward (one day soon!).

Here is a picture of some of his gifts (I just got more tonight):

The two shirts that say "Being this Cool is a full time job" and "Heart Breaker in Training" totally fit him well! Haha

~~ Christmas Party ~~
Later that night, we went to our friend's annual Christmas party. Here's Mr. Stud muffin as we were getting ready:

Showing off his handsome smile:

Daddy and Kyler were checking out the yacht and I mean Yacht!:

Attempt at a family pix. Kyler was into the water fountain that was going on behind us:

Sitting like a big boy --and yes, he climbed in all by himself-- not liking this climbing business:

~~ 17 Months Old ~~
The next day, Mr. Kyler turned 17 Months Old! But my Big boy wanted to go potty on the big boy chair. So off came the short and diaper and sure enough..HE WENT! I know, Chris called me CRAZY for taking a picture of his first pee.. but its a big step and I am proud. (Yes, my hair is also falling out which you'll see in the picture as well):

~~ My Lil Chef ~~
I wanted to bake something one night and went to the cupboards and found two boxes of different brownie mixes. I held them out and asked Kyler which one he wanted to make. He of course picked the one that had Reese's Peanut Butter "kisses" in them. (go figure since that's ALL I wanted when I was preggers with him).

Mommy helping Kyler mix and bake:

Mommy's chef:

And once the brownie mixing was all done and the brownies were in the oven..he was NOT a happy boy:

Eating his first brownie:

He loved it:

~~ Kyler / Daddy Time~~
Kyler and Daddy were playing with a bouncy ball and it got away from them and went under the entertainment center.

A couple of Kyler helping Daddy look for it:

Riding on Daddy's back

Oh so sweet:

This one is blurry, but I love both their smiles:

Making sure Daddy is mopping correctly:

A little golfing time:

Making Daddy have Funny faces:

~~ Two of Kyler's Loves ~~
Two of Kyler's loves are firetrucks and teeth brushing and what a better way than to have them both together?!:

Oh so Handsome!:

~~ Are You Ready for Some Football?~~
My boys watching the Dolphins play football:

Look at the expression on both of their faces --the same:

Checking out what the ref has to say:

And excited for whatever call was made --giving Daddy hi fives!:

Yes,,glued to the TV.. He has been watching football since he was 4 months old!:

~~ Word of the Week ~~
"Door" and let me tell you.. Mr. Southern says it like "doe". I will catch it on video one day to share.
