My Boys at Daycare

I got to take the boys to daycare at "oh.my.god.o'clock.in.the.morning" on Friday.  As we are in the parking lot waiting for Ms. Ayida, Kyler jumps in the front as he wants to "drive":

I had gotten off from work early on Friday and went to collect my babies.  When I arrived, I could not find Kyler for the life of me.  A little girl kept saying "Kyler Mommy here".  Finally this adorable kid turns around and comes running over to me... only to find it's Kyler...dressed as...

A Chef {{wearing a "dress" as he called the apron}}.  I couldn't find him as he had his back to me and was sitting on the floor and with him wearing the Chef's hat, I didn't see him:

We went to go collect lil bro and found him face up in some food...rice cereal and green beans mixed.  He LOVES this!  If you can't tell by him eyeballing that spoon waiting for it to come his direction:

yummmmmm!

Boat Rides and Water Parks

A few weeks ago, my Mommy, Grandma, Uncle and his step granddaughters met up with us at Fisherman's Village for dinner followed by a sunset cruise.  Kyler has been wanting to go for a boat ride and thought Kolton would enjoy it too...along with my Grandma.

We first had dinner at Harpoon Harry's on the water watching the boats. Kyler is ALL about his "Mom-ma":

I love the sailboat in this one and how the sky and sun became so pink as it was going down:

My Mom captured my niece and nephew for a weekend get away and they came down to our house for some kiddo time!  Kyler was SO excited he couldn't wait for them to get there.

Kyler and Cagen playing:

Charleigh was SO excited to see her baby cousin...

I think he was just as excited to see her..he kept laughing at her and grabbing her hair:

Kowboy Kousins!  Aren't they eat 'em up cute?!!

Three monkeys:

Four lil monkeys jumping in the bed... Ok.actually they are ALL engrossed in Aladdin..for the moment:

Twins! (From another mother and 9 months apart)..LOL. They started off the morning having a blast outside after breakfast:

Charleigh wanted in on the fun. They took turns riding in the back and after a few falls outs..they all jumped in the front!

We all got dressed and headed to the local water park for some fun in the sun!  Cagen kept saying he didn't want to go down the slides....until he got there!

Boys getting ready for the race!:

And they're off!:

I can't wait until next year when all 3 boys will be racing!:

Off to a run to do it again:

Charleigh went down it a few times, but she was really into her baby cousin:

Swim lessons did pay off.  Someone with no floaties on and he was dunking his head under and blowing bubbles:

Me relaxing,  kiddo free and watching the boys race down the slide:

A happy Mommy with her boys. Kolton was loving splashing around..even in the COLD water.  Why is the kids play area FREEZING?!:

Let's attack Mommy / Aunt Sheri!:

Charleigh went down a few times on the inter tube:

Kolton got "wheels"!  Watch out!!  He looks like he's riding a bull here:
Mr. Kolton passed out on my chest after a sun filled day and splashing in the water.  I laid him down in the same position and I think this is the hardest he has ever slept.. and he's a good sleeper.  I kept a close eye on him since he was belly down.  I had to wake him up to change and feed him before bed. He was DONE from all of the excitement:

Sad Mommy

I had a rough night sleeping the past few nights and when I bolted up this morning to get ready for work, I left the house in a hurry to find coffee.  Meanwhile, I left behind my cooler that I store my pumped milk in along with my pumping supplies. UGH!  {{ TMI I know, but there's a reason behind that bit of info }}.....

Thankfully Chris was able to bring them to me. However..here goes heart break moment:

I first open the door to see Kyler and give him a kiss and I hear Kolton crying. Kyler's reaching out his arms to me saying "I want you Mommy"!  I give him a kiss and explain that Mommy has to work today but that he's going to have a fun day with Daddy. He's saying "NOOOOOOO Mommy!!!" {{heart.stops.beating.in.my.chest}}

While I'm talking to Kyler; Kolton heard my voice and stopped crying to look over at my direction and smiled.  When I spoke to him, his smile broadened.  So I closed Kyler's door and walked over to see Kolton face to face and give him some kisses. He was SO happy, he was kicking in excitement and laughing.  He misses his Mommy. {{heart.stops.beating.in.my.chest}}

So now I'm here at work, very sad and these next 8 hours will drag until I am home with my boys.

MOMMY LOVES AND MISSES YOU TWO SOOOOOOOOOO MUCH!!!!!

Happy 4 Months Old

Ok, so I know this post is a few days late (sorry Kolton).  But none the less, I wanted to post a few things about my big guy turning the big 4 Months Old!

Kolton:  You are now 4 Months Old and Such a Happy Guy!  You are a chatter-box. I LOVE it.  I'm sure later on that will come back to me, but for now I am enjoying it. As it tells me you are eager to learn!  You wake up talking away and several times have woken your Daddy and Kyler up from all of your talking.  We can say "hi" with a high pitch and you will match it and it sounds like you're saying "hi" back.  But I'm sure as much as I'd love to believe you're a genius and talking at 4 months, that it's just a fluke. When you cry (which is very rare), but it sounds like you say "Mom- Ma". And no, it's not just me "hearing" it as other people have also heard it ~ even people we don't know have made the comment.

You weigh 14lbs 14.5 oz and are wearing 3-6 month clothing..yes you are going to be my football player.  The 6 month footed onesies for sleeping in are too short for your long legs and arms. I guess I should bring out the 9 months to see if they will fit you length wise.

You are cutting 4 teeth:  two top, two bottom. And other than your fingers in your mouth and drooling, I wouldn't know as you're not cranky with it. You do like to chew which is a little hard for me..especially since I am still nursing you.. so cut that out, OK  ;-D.  You like to suck on your index and middle finger together. You prefer them over a pacifier any day!

You're getting fuzzy wuzzy hair and I love it!  It's so soft and I love kissing your head.  You LOVE bath time and cry when it's over with.  You love your bouncy chair and kick your left leg to get it to bounce. I'm waiting on you to catapult  your way out of it.  You're not sure of your jumparoo. You like to play in it for a little bit but then you want out.  You LOVE watching cartoons with Kyler. I'm not sure who enjoys them more.

Brothers..wearing the "big brother / little brother" matching shirts:

Play time with big brother:

Big brother toted little brother all over Grandma's house in the dump truck. Did a mommy's heart good to see my boys playing. Kolton's finally getting to be able to interact with Kyler and he LOVES it (so do I):

We scored some tickets to the Miracles baseball game and since Kyler has been really into wanting to learn to play, we decided to take him.  But I'm not sure if by the look on his face if he liked it or not?! HA!

A few of us loaded up this past Saturday and set out to enjoy a Sunset Cruise on Charlotte Harbor.  This was Kolton's first boat ride and look at the amazing view we had..Kolton on the other hand was out..snoring!:

Special bonding brudder snuggle time!:

I LOVE that every morning this is how Kolton wakes up:

We had Kolton's 4 month check up scheduled for Monday. However he developed Thrush (poor guy ~ due to the Zpack I was on from our cold) and so I ended up taking him into the Dr a little early.  We learned that Mr. Kolton also had a nasty impacted ear infection..due to the cold we both just had. He is such a good baby and never fused so I never knew he had a bad ear. Poor guy, but thankfully he developed thrush so we found.  Anyways, his 4 month well check up is post-poned until his infections are clear.  In the mean time, our little hungry boy has been starring at every bite that goes into our mouths. In fact just last night he was watching my food with eyes bigger than saucers and would not take his eyes off every swirl, up, down, spin around motion that I did with my food.  It was funny.  But he's been showing signs of needing more than just milk.

We were at a friends house and she had cut up an apple for Kyler and you were eyeballing that apple something fierce. So I gave you her to hold and took a slice as I wanted to see what you would do with it:

You. Loved. It!  You weren't so happy when I took it away after a few minutes:
So on the way home, I stopped and got you some Rice Cereal. Here's what you thought about that! Yes, that would be a smile on his face...like he knows what's coming to him:

First bite going in:

Yummmm..and yes another smile!:

Isn't this just gobble up adorable?!:

Face deep in Rice Cereal..Give.Me.MORE!
