Chim Chim Cher-ee!
Sorry, now that you are singing that song from the one and only Mary Poppins! I will add these pictures to show you why I've been singing that song.
Caption: I was doing laundry and Kyler found this broom and had to sweep our floors since we don't have a Chimney for him to clean. Ha!
~And for those of you who knew the little boy that we were adopting that horribly fell through at the same time we found out we were pregnant with Kyler....in these two pictures, I totally see Kaston.
Here is Chris, Kaston, Me (and we didn't know yet, but Kyler was in there "cooking") at Thanksgiving 2008:
Me and Kaston the same day:
Crazy how they do look alike huh?
And to just lighten things up so were not dwelling on it. Here is Mr. Kyler eating a PBJ this morning. Do you think he likes them?!:
Man was it a mess to clean up! UGH.. But he loved it and had a blast, so that's all that matters.

Are You Ready for Some Football?!
A Little of This and Some of That...
I had girls night out last night and when I got home, this is what I found. I soo wanted to crawl in there and snuggle with him.
I love my girls night out and hanging with my friends, but I also miss rocking my lil man to sleep and having that snuggle time. But its good for Daddy to have too.
Before I came into work this morning, I was folding some laundry and Daddy was being supervised vacuuming!
Then when Daddy was done, Kyler walked into the room where we keep the vacuum and he was "inspecting" the vacuum to make sure Daddy didn't break anything. It was way too cute!
Kyler got a new (to him) shirt and it totally fits him! I can't wait for him wear it and see what reactions we get. HA!:

Shave and a Haircut (2 bits)..
Last night we took Daddy and Kyler to get a haircut. When we first walked in, I was a little nervous as the girl who cut Kyler's hair the 1st time, wasn't there and I was kind of hoping she would be.
But, he walked over to the chair like he owed the place and looked at me to lift him up. He thought he was big stuff sitting in the chair. He started to give me a look of being scared when she put the cape on him, but then I told him that he was ok and we found his hands so he could hold my fingers.
He thought it was funny with her spraying his hair down with the water. AND THEN.. he found himself in the mirror and oh boy, I think I have trouble on my hands HA! He would watch himself in the mirror and flirt with the girl cutting his hair. Oh is he a mess!
Halfway through Kyler's hair cut, Daddy got to sit down in the next chair and get his buzzed. Thankfully the girl was using clippers on Daddy because I wasn't expecting the girl cutting Kyler's to pull out clippers and then she got him. He scrunched up his neck like it was tickling him and had a big smile on his face. It was too stinkin' cute! We didn't even need to pull out the bottle we brought with. He was a big boy.
And yes, I'm a bad mommy, I didn't take pictures during this haircut. I know, but Daddy said NO. But I got him afterwards standing next to Daddy while he was getting his finished up and Kyler got to get a sucker. Oh he made a friend with this girl, must have been all that flirting going on. He even picked a grape sucker to match her finger nails! HA!
Kyler with his sucker. He wouldn't even wave Bye-bye, he was engrossed into eating it:

Visit with Grandpa Great
Since my Grandpa has been admitted into a nursing home and hasn't been doing well, I decided that I needed to take Kyler to see his Great Grandpa. For who knows if it was going to be the last time.
I know that Kyler nor Grandpa would even know that either were there.. or so I thought! But it was important for me that two important men in my life get to see one another and it was I guess a part of "closure" for me.
When we first arrived and saw Grandpa and some other residents in the living room watching TV, we went straight to him. Kyler lit up like he recognized him and that made me feel good. Grandpa at first seemed to "not be there" but after a few minutes of me talking to him telling him that Kyler and I were there and we brought him some french fries (he loves french fries), he started talking about "the boy". That's what Grandpa calls him and Buddy Roe.."That boy" as he can't remember names. And then he was reaching his hand out, so I asked him what he was trying to do and he said "hand". So I asked him, do you want Kyler's hand and he nodded yes.
So then I snapped this sweet picture. It's me helping hold Kyler's hand with his Great Grandpa's:
Most of the other residents that were in the living room with us, were in awe over Kyler and it helped brighten their day as well to see him. He went over and was giving them hi-fives and I'm not sure who was more excited him or them.
Here is Grandpa:
And here are two of Grandpa with his Great Grandson Kyler:
And as we were walking Grandpa back to his room, here is Kyler dancing in the hallway:
Later that day, I was visiting with Grandma and she told me that Grandpa was trying to tell her that we were there to see him. Or so that's what she thinks he was trying to tell her. He mentioned "that boy" and some mumbles. So I think it was a great visit.
My Grandma has thrown her back out and if she doesn't get to feeling better soon, I'm going to have to get the "bull gator" after her! (inside family joke)

A Dog-Gone Monday...
We started off the morning by being welcomed to rain and thunder as we headed out. So I left a little earlier to drop Kyler off at daycare before the storms hit.
It was a very dreary day raining cats and "dogs" and had finally stopped late afternoon. So while we were at the dinner table, the 3 of us had discussed that we needed some outdoor time. We all 3 decided it would be great to go for a bike ride.
Can you tell we have a happy boy on our hands?
Here are two super cute videos of Kyler "barking" at the dinner table. Kady was outside and we could hear her barking at the neighbors dog and then Kyler started "barking". It was way too cute, so I grabbed the camera and started barking to get him going.
Yes, that's me in the background and then you'll see his impression of barking. (too stinkin' cute!)
The 2nd video you'll get to hear him better and see him using his fork really well too. I'm a proud Mommy.
We went shopping on Sunday and we got Kyler this ever so cute outfit and 2 others. I just HAD to put it on him and take a picture. This is now my new favorite outfit on him. It has a cute Moose head on the left side.

Monkey-ing Around...
Yesterday I kept Kyler home from daycare as I wanted to spend the day with him. So after lunch we headed to the bank and while we were there, we ran into Daddy. What a nice surprise. Daddy had gotten off of work early and was on his way home. We told Daddy that we were going to go have some fun and he wanted to tag along.
We went to checkout Monkey Playhouse for the first time. It's a great place for younger kids. However, there were several bigger kids there and they didn't seem to have any problems having fun themselves! One little boy was probably around 7 or 8-ish and he really took to Kyler. Especially in the ball pit. He was entertaining him and it made me feel good.
We first started off by having some scrambled eggs and toast:
Kyler was taking his fork and shoveling the toast in his mouth:
When asking him after lunch if he wanted to go bye-bye....this is what he did:
This was Kyler in the 2 and under section...trying to decide what he was going to get into first:
He LOVED this little zebra bouncy thing.
In the rice pit. There was rice ALLL over the floor from where the kids have played. It's a great idea, but I can only imagine the cost of rice per year.
Some of the older boys were riding cars like these and they were having a blast. So Mr. Kyler saw one that was open and decided he wanted to be like the big boys. He needed a little assistance "driving" so Daddy and I took turns pushing him around. He loved chasing the older kids.
The cutest ball in the ball pit:
Some little boy (or bigger boy for Kyler) kept watching him playing.
Help Me! I'm stuck!:
~~And brace yourself for the next set of pictures~~
Daddy and I thought, hmm, lets try and see if he likes slides now:
And my son who HATES slides.........
Was trying to climb back up it since he LOVED it so much!:
So he went down again ...
Him at the top:
And the bottom:
And went down...Again!:
Yes, that would be him giggling so hard at the bottom:
He went down several other times and this one he did all by himself!:
And Daddy was there to help him get off at the bottom:
After having a blast there and working up a sweat, Daddy treated us to DQ ice cream. Kyler didn't want his, he was sooo exhausted and wanted a nap. He feel asleep in the car just about as we were getting ready to pull in at home. So I laid him down for a nap and next thing I know, all 3 of us were waking up around 6:30 PM. Wow, guess we all were exhausted.
Kyler stole Mommy's icecream..and wouldn't eat his Dilly Bar. Which was fine by me, I didn't need it ;-D.
We then went over to see Kyler's cousins, Aunt and Uncle and had dinner with them. Kyler and the boys were wresteling.

To Cute Not to Post
Ok..so I'm probably going to get in trouble from my sisters-in-law as I "stole" (borrowed) these pictures from them. But they are Way too cute NOT to post.
So to T and to S, I'm sorry. I give you both permission to steal / borrow one of Ky-Ky. ;-D
This is my very handsome toothless nephew "N". He has 4 missing on the top and 2 missing on the bottom. He's not a happy camper about them, but I think he is too cute!
And here is one of my niece BBug on her first day of soccer. She was sooo excited that her Daddy signed her up and she already looks like a natural pro!

Goose Egg
When I got home from work, my boys were at the dinner table and when I sat down, Kyler looked up at me and shined the biggest Goose Egg.
Chris said he tripped and hit the tile floor. Oh man did that break my heart. Ok, so it's not a good picture as the lights were down low (I was rocking him to sleep~ don't fret, it was hours after incident) but you can definitely see the goose egg.
