What's In a Nickname?

As with most of everything in our family, you tend to get more than one Nickname. I'm surprised my poor Kyler actually knows his own name. HA!

~~some of the following pictures may be a duplicate to an earlier post, but you'll see why they were the best fit~~

Bird Man:
When he was first born, he was 3 weeks early and had "feathers" all over his back and when he would cry it sounded like a bird chirp...so he became my little Bird Man. It wasn't long before he outgrew that. (the actual picture showing his "feathers" was taken by a phone and was very blurry, so I couldn't post it):


Squeezy Squeezy:
When Kyler was 3 months old, Chris had to work the night shift. So he would be gone at night and at daycare during the day. When Chris would call for our bedtime good-nights, he would say "Tell my boy I love him and give him a "squeezy squeezy" for me. When I would give Kyler two quick squeezes (hugs) from Daddy, he would smile. So we started calling him Squeezy Squeezy and he would laugh. And here lately it's been slightly changed to "Squeeze-opotamus"


Ky Ky:
Just a short cute nickname for Kyler. Or sometimes just Ky.


Crabby Patty:
This one was used a lot yesterday. His poor teeth coming in made him miserable (and Mommy too). But he gets called Crabby Patty when he is cranky....very seldom is he, but when he is...He Is! Ha!


Monkey Shine:
This one is a Gramma special. When he is thinking he's big stuff and showing off, Gramma calls him Monkey Shine. And he thinks its cute when she does.


That Boy:
A Grandpa Great special. My Grandpa is sadly suffering from diabetes, dementia, and slight Alzheimer's and can't remember names. So for him, Kyler is 'That Boy'.


Mr. Champagne:
Another Gramma special. This is because the color of his hair isn't brown nor blond nor dirty blond but it's rather Champagne colored. I LOVE it and hope he never outgrows it, but I know he will.


Sport Model:
Another one of Gramma's specials. This is related to Monkey Shine. ;-D


Oil Can:
This is a Grandma Great special. My Grandma says that when he laughs, it sounds like he needs an oil can, as he's squeaky and its too cute!


Speed Deemer:
Daddy calls Kyler this when he gets to crawling super fast.


Little Piggy:
Because the boy LOVES his food, especially when it comes to corn!


Handsome:
This is a Mommy's special and well.. duh, have you seen him?! Ha!


Gerber Baby:
When we are out and about, we get told ALL the time that he looks like the Gerber Baby. We agree, he does!


All Boy:
Papa Pat calls him All Boy because he is all boy (dirt, trucks, dogs, balls,flirting with the women, everything a boy could love)!


Buzzard Catcher:
This one is for Papa Pat...cause Gramma catches "buzzards" when she's with Kyler. HaHa!
