Halloween Weekend 2010

I came home from work one night on my "lunch break" and found Kyler sleeping like this.. It was too cute not to take a picture:

I took Kyler to daycare on Friday so that he could enjoy his Halloween get together with his buddies. He was such a big boy walking up to Donna's carrying his lunchbox:

When I picked him up, he had colored a picture for me:

We then headed up to start the weekend at Gramma's. We stopped by her work to visit a few and Kyler came out with these candy bags filled with candy in hand:

They always decorate so cute for each holiday and I love going in to see what they do each time.

This is what happens when Gramma's take your lil ones shopping....

After dinner and a bath, Gramma put on the pjs she bought him..Too cute!:

The next morning we all got up and got ready to hit the Pumpkin Patch at Hunsader Farms..we go every year and usually have a good time.

Kyler, Gramma and me:

When we got there, Kyler saw the train and wanted to go for a ride!
The front (engine) of the train:

Buddy Roe driving. He sat in the back..that's where he wanted. He's too cute!:

Here are some of Kyler dancing:

Leave it to my boy to find 2 girls to dance with!:

Kyler was flirting with the girl that played the guitar:

After riding the train, we found the petting zoo where Kyler was into feeding the goats:

Ky vs goat stare down:

He was having a good time:

The baby goat was climbing on its mommy:

Look at how cute they are..they were ramming and headbutting one another and they were fun to watch:

Next to the goats were these geese that Kyler and Emily were all into:

Chris eating boiled peanuts. He used to HATE them.. look Ma, I'm turning him southern. HA!:

Kyler in the Pumpkin Patch:

An attempt at a family portrait in the pumpkin patch:

Miss Emily having fun getting her picture taken:

We didn't get a chance to go on the hayride or pony rides, but Kyler was worn out when we left. I don't even think he made it to the main road before he was passed out! Which was good because he needed a nap before Trick or Treating started.

As we were prepairing for dinner, the doorbell was ringing. Kids were already having fun. So my Grandma came over to have some fun and passed out candy and we moved us outside to watch all the kids while we ate.

Kyler supervising Grandma Great while she passed out the candy:

After we finished eating, we got Kyler dressed in his costume. What a Handsome Vampire!:

He then got to do his very first Trick-or-Treat and made Grandma Great his first:

Gramma helping him put his candy in his bag:

Daddy (taking pix), Gramma and I walking with Kyler in the neighborhood to get some goodies:

Kyler holding Mommy's hand:

By the 3rd house, he knew what to do and LOVED it!

On the run!:

A Vampire on a mission:

Oohh, he was caught flirting on this one. I cut the little girl out but she was cute!:

A little blurry, but look at that smile!:

Another blurry but big smile one:

On the run and having fun!:

Kyler and Daddy Trick-or-Treating:

Kyler was checking out the ghost in Gramma's tree. It made noise and scared him at first then he started thinking it was funny:

The ghost in the tree:

I LOVE this one.. bag in hand and off to a run to the next house:

First nights worth of candy:

Yup, that's my boy! Eating a Kit-Kat:

After a bath and teeth brushed..it was snuggle time (although he was still wired):

The next morning, Kyler and Gramma had to fix a few holes where Kady was "excited" because of the ghosts and gobblins and tried digging out.

Kyler being a big boy and helping Gramma:

Blurry, but look at that handsome crooked smile!:

That's my lil redneck, pj shirt / diaper / and crocs!:

After this, he helped her with watering the flowers / plants..and umm Himself and everything else in sight! HA!! We then loaded up and headed home as we had another night filled of Trick-or-Treating with his cousins.

We went over to Z and N's house to go with them. All 3 boys were so excited to be going together.

Before we left, I was holding Kyler and he leaned in to give his Aunt Sherry a kiss and surprised us all. He's finally warming up to her! Woot-woot. Then he had to Tease Uncle Kevin..he would lean in like he was going to give him one then turn his head at the last second. He enjoyed us all laughing at him!

Z was a muscle warrior of some sort (sorry Z, can't remember the name of your guy); N was a Nascar driver and Kyler was a vampire! They were all so handsome! This was the best I could get of all 3 in the house:

Then outside Z wanted to pull the other 2 in the wagon:

The boys took off all by themselves. The bigger cousins watched out and helped Lil Man (I was so proud of them all):

Kyler blowing on the whistle / flashlight:

When we got back to the house, Kyler was soo thirsty that he wouldn't wait on me to refill his sippy cup that he sucked dry, he took the container and drank from it:

Kyler caught in the action messing with Cody's dog bowl:

2nd nights worth of candy:

I'd say he had an overall success of Trick-or-Treating!

The last house we went to, the lady was handing out these really cool animal figurines made out of seashells by her late husband. I told her that we didn't want to take them and she insisted on them rather than candy so they went to a great home and she would "declutter" some out of her house. The boys got to pick and Kyler found...a "bird".. go figure. HA!

Here is the front view of the pelican:

And the side view:

It will go on his shelf as a memory of his first time Trick-or-Treating.. Yes, this is his 2nd Halloween, however, last year he was 3 months old and it was TOO HOT to go anywhere, so we stayed in and passed candy out.

Daddy drew a face on Kyler's pumpkin that he got at the pumpkin patch..I know, late, but we still need to carve it out:

Hope you all had a fun, exciting and safe Halloween.

~~And since I am actually posting this a day late and it's now November...

HAPPY BIRTHDAY GRANDMA! We love you!!
